We’ve had roadworks for the past year on j28 m4. A right balls up !! It’s nearly finished,.... but now there’s millions of traffic lights, lanes going through middle of roundabouts, lanes split into other lanes, one of the exits out of Newport to get to m4 east, you have to stay in right lane...

can you torque up a nut and bolt on the bolt head? ...... thinking of the A frame bolts.

Got new hubs. :) Poxy weather still, so started to do some more painting in garage. Painted wheel mount. Matt black high temp paint. Started masking discs and hubs but run out of tape. Arse !!!

Do it in the summer ?

Oooo right. I thought it was one of them magnetic tray things for putting all yer nuts and bolts in as you strip things out.

Yeah, there’s a noticeable lip where the seal rubs.

No welding today. Car too wet. So I worked on wheel hub. Took disk off. Took bearings and seals out. Cleaned off crud ready to paint. I thing the stubby is a bit worn though. Not worth putting back on. Bearmach up the road ,£17 for new one. What you think??

Haven’t done the floor yet. :( Got the o/s stuff to do first . Box sill, a and b pillar ends, wheelarch, c pillar, alpine window, wheel hub stuff........and and and I may get the n/s side strip of boot floor fitted if weather is kind next week.

Might fill holes up with grease
