    Mystery plug

I suppose it could plug straight in, the sensor itself is a 'Male' plug while this port is the 'female' end. Wonder if there was a Male-to-female extension that threaded through to the rail under the bumper? It'll be impossible to tell without knowing where that plug goes to however - although...

    Mystery plug

Looks an awful lot like the external temperature sensor connector, the cable for which is also described as solid orange. Was there any length behind the plug or did it just sit there clinging to the fuse box? Did you see any colours for the cables running into it?

What have you done to your Freelander today

Oh no the terminals are fine, I mean when the car rocked it must've started the alarm going which I never got to hear. Probably went right up until it's last breath. This Shetland gale seems set to last until Friday so my plan is to use the driver's door lock to not arm the alarm until then

What have you done to your Freelander today

A little of column A, a little of B... Not the battery's fault, wind shook things around inside last night. I had to park it a ways off where I'm staying so I never heard it. Managed to brave the rain and get an AC/DC charger, even took it for a quick run around earlier but it's topping off now...

Freelander 1 [SOLVED] External Temperature Reading

In essence, a mismatch between T4 versions. MG/Rover favour 5.0.6 while Land Rover react best to 6.0.0. The disk may also be important I'd have to put together my own T4, but it's a possibility

    Freelander 1 Rear View Experiment

With the result of my last project being a resounding success it's time to up the ante: in that one I was largely in the shadow of someone else's prior work - this time it ought to be something from scratch, something new, something I'm not sure has been covered. Before I give up the game...
