What have you done to your Freelander today

Bulbs replaced: 8 Fuses blown: 1 Front headlight guards to fit but it's raining I did notice there's a glovebox illumination bulb right behind the latch but it's such a thin space I don't think an LED would fit Now I ponder on whether I can replace the silver front grille with a black one...

Learned how to crimp this weekend, so naturally that was a trip to Halfords for the tool followed by toolstation when I messed up one of the connectors. Worth the time, the right one wasn't working at all before

Just arrived back from servicing the new one. 7+1/2 hours looking at the showroom lost its charm after about the third hour. Still, it's nice to have it back on track with a stamp. They even washed it

Nowhere yet, but it's now up for grabs. I'm enjoying the dizzying heights of the FL2 and I don't see myself coming back down

    TYRES

If they're anything like the Crossclimate 1s that I have, absolutely. Their volume is reasonable. Though like Whisky, I got them to keep myself upright in ice and snow. No idea what they're like when towing

    Freelander 1 T4 Freelander Disk DTL35X

That's right, you need a full sized Omitec T4 Testbook, the (blue/grey) cables and a specific version of the Land Rover disc that goes with it It hasn't been documented well enough for us to be certain. Hopefully any Testbooks near you will have a sleeve full of discs to go with it. "DTL35X"...

Cheated on it. Drove over to a garage where they're selling a GS FL2. I really like the car, now to shop - think it's curtains for the FL1

Not busted, just despite the insistence of my beautiful assistant it wasn't fastened at all. Opened it again and it was hovering in front of the manifold, luckily with the fastener still wrapped around it. Tightened it up myself this time and suddenly I had turbo again

What have you done to your Freelander today

It's been one of the days of all time Fuel pressure sensor comes out. New one in. Drilled into electrical box and replaced the pins. Starts like it's not done in ages. Idles nicely. Put the hoses back and the cover on. Pathetic DeWalt kit I use doesn't have a "this way up" indication of any...
