I need to order some parts including serpentine belt for my 1996 110 300tdi engine which starts 16L4***** but all the online sellers state belts for engines up to 16L2***** I cant find any for engine numbers 16L4 onwards, any ideas please?

Yes, I believe so. My mechanic rang me at time of fitting to tell me they didn't fit, I had to nip straight out to Paddocks to buy a different pair, I'm sure I ended up having to buy vented, I shall have to dig out my receipt to check.

Bought these for my 1996 LR Defender but I ordered the wrong size. Never been used, just tried to fit and then put back in box. They have sat in their box for about 1 year and so they now have some surface rust, but this can easily be cleaned off. Heres a link to the discs, which were purchased...

Lately when I press the left button on my alarm fob to deactivate it before starting the ignition (standard factory alarm) it clicks rapidly for about 10 seconds, as if the relay is faulty, then stops. The alarm does deactivate just fine, but is this a sign of a problem? 1996 110 300tdi.

I once got to 85 in my 300tdi. Problem is, I live at 93. Ba dum tish.

It used to be possible to buy a complete one piece B pillar and cills, not sure if its still possible? My B Pillar bottoms are also rusting.

Most tyres I've ever had have always been 'all round'. The only exception to this has been when I've had a puncture which means they still remain round in shape, but have a small flat bit at the bottom.

Correct:) With engine running at idle whilst stationary its 14.1v, thats without any load such as lights etc. So 12.7v when parked on driveway, and 14.1v with engine running.
