I can get the above battery for £92 from eBay, from a reputable supplier. But Im relying on them using a courier that isn't going to let the battery roll around the back of his van. Or I can get an identical one by nipping to halfords, but they are charging £130 for essentially the same battery...

Sadly mine has corroded right next to the silencer box, so there no pipe to slip it over.

Nice. How did you fix them to the exhaust? Jubilee clips? Did you order with split ends for clamping?

Thats the problem isn't it. With standard system being fairly cheap I can't bring myself to buy stainless. Plus if a tyre throws something up onto the exhaust I'd be grateful it wasn't stainless.

Every few years my rear silencer pipe corrodes and breaks. Is this a common issue with everyone? Anyone know of a suitable repair technique, other than bodging it with a Baked Bean tin and jubilee clips :D Part number LR150C i believe?

My LR Def 110 300tdi failed its MOT today (as did my motorbike:mad:) as the passenger wiper doesn't do a full sweep, the splines inside the wiper arm have worn, causing the arm to slip, as they do. Just ordered a new arm and thought i may as well replace the adapter as well. Thanks everyone.

Anyone know if the splined end bit of the windscreen wiper box assembly is available separately? Its the bit that the wiper arm attaches directly to, with the little grub screw to hold it on. The two circular top hat shaped bits in the middle of this picture...

What issues would I need to consider if buying a 2010 Freelander 2 with 140k miles? What work should I check has been done/changed, and what work would I need to check etc once purchased? Possibly thinking of buying one that I know of.
