The other week i had a similar problem with my revs staying on when I'd took my foot off the accelerator. It turned out to be a kinked accelerator cable. New one fitted and problem solved.

Drop arm ball joint? They are known to be a pig to remove. I paid a garage to replace mine.

Well as they are now, not really. The backs will tip forward but not all the way as the headrests foul on the front seats. But I also have a set of alternative brackets that allow the backs to recline horizontal, and then the whole seat tips up so they are vertical and up against the back of the...

So what's the real difference between the two Sealy models? I know one is 1000 peak amps n'tuther is 1600 peak amps, but what does this mean in English (or Americun for Thor)? And is 1000 amp big enough for my ruffty ruffty lifestyle of driving to work and back?

Thanks. Strangely the mechanic I use is also an agricultural mechanic (in North Derbyshire), a real traditional Fred Dibbner type. But some of the bigger jobs he has to pass on as he's kind of semi retired. Nice to know I can bear you in mind. Cheers.
