I found an old cracked spotlight and chucked that on the front valance. Turned out it was a fog light and slightly less bright than the full beam. Still. Looks awesome. 🤔

I take it your suffering the same technical issue I seem to be encountering. It’s ruddy freezing 😳 The nearest I’ve got to doing anything is ordering headlights. They seem to have been held up in Christmas post. I do get to my little heated shed on occasion. This none stop rain ain’t helping...

EBay do old reproduction discs for a few bob. Alternately you can search Google for a year and print it off but it’ll have a different reg number unless you have photoshop.

Still waiting for my headlights 😙 I’ll replace both and keep the other for a spare. It was getting a little difficult to see the light through the moss and lichen. Never keen on an upgrade. I like the dull orange glow. Bit like the welcome of a coal fire. With less smoke from coal obviously 😳

I replaced the bowls years ago with ‘metal most origin Lucas honourable prospective client’ ones. Just rip off copies 🙄 with a very badly applied Lucas stencil. I did blather them with grease before fitting the lamp. 😉

Mi headlights made a nice orange glow on the road just ahead. A tad close perhaps but to the left. Started looking different about five weeks ago. A little smaller and more circular. Seems one of them blew 😳 More sealed beam on their way. Let’s see if they can outlive me 🤣

Must say, this winter I’ve already used my heater more than every other year put together. Not sure if it’s me getting soft or it’s been colder. Still working great 👍

More pallets brokid up today and made into racking but when the light got too low I retreated to the garden workshop with mi solar stuff and started wiring.

Between prepping the man cave 2 I’ve knocked up a box for the solar array. I’m using all the scraps and half paint tins as fast as I can as this has been relegated way down from practical to functional. Hence the chassis black for the inside and Iveco blue for thexterior. 😳

Think there should be a couple down the side anorl near the injectors. Pain in the arris when your adjusting the pump the loom always gets in the way of the rear nut 😳

I’d go for a short before looking at heat. There should be P clips right round the rout but it does touch the cylinder head between them.

Yours was in the correct location. There shouldn’t be anything approaching the temperature needed to melt a loom on that rout.

If anyone has a full set of series two hinges, preferably with the wing mirror holes, I have a crisp twenty pound note and a two finger kitkat at the ready. 🤔
