Anything standard over 100 inches long I think will ground out. A 110 with a tow bar is going to struggle. Power on when exiting will likely show up any weakness in the half shafts or diff which obviously means if one breaks it's hard going to do the rest of the route in two wheel drive.

    First Greenlanes

Never ever ever do the last lane. If anyone suggests 'lets just do one more' DON'T!! It is cursed and will lead to severe pain and arse ache or breakdown. Also, and this is a big also. Just because somebody at some point has decided to go and have a jolly and rip up a part of the lane...

Knackered after a another solid day of lanes. Still on M6 but at least it's flowing freely. Managed to put the ambulance through yet more grief but all good with no breakdowns. Pictures later after a slap up stop off at the Thai curry emporium.

Multifuel burner for my living room.

Basically what I'm looking at is being less reliant on the gas. So a burner in the living room and leaving the door open to take the chill out of the house rather than having the central heating on 24/7. When I'm on shifts I'm happy with a camp bed in front of the burner during the day when...

Multifuel burner for my living room.

All my expense on gas is for heating/hot water with a combi boiler so it's not as if I'm constantly boiling a tank of water in a 1962 built detached house. So I can't even rely on next door neighbours to warm my walls. All the sums here are cheaper than my huge gas bill. So it's still...
