Be ware for disconnecting battery. Loosen -ve terminal ignition on for 10 secs as soon as you turn off you have 17 secs to disconnect. To reconnect leave door open and keys in your pocket as door can lock itself. You will need to reset windows and sun roof. sometimes I've had to resync keys...

The small amount mentioned will be 1/8th inch to 3/16th for the first attempt

Used Keiths method with the last pump last year and got it to 52% so was 99% sure tapping to the block sorted modulation and not the other way round

Is that the one in the little red tube. If so it was recommended to me a few years back when my gearbox was playing up. Never got round to trying it as we changed the box any way. Sure it is more for the torque converter than the gearbox

Thank you kind sir. Thats what I was sure of. When I did my modulation Keith's way it was 80% and tapping towards the block reduced it to 52%. 👍 This bloke talks out of his a**e some times

Yesterday afternoon changed leak off pipe from FIP to number 1 injector as it got damaged when FIP changed. Nosy bloke from down road proceeded to explain to me how easy FIP's were to time up. He had done load's (supposedly) by just fitting pump fullest away from block then tapping towards...
