    2.5 ton paperweight??

I don't know the EDC, but Nanocom guide shows this. Have you tried switching off car & disconnecting Nanocom. Then reconnect & try engine BUT do not use those triggers !! You might also want to try reading the pump calibration setting & post the numbers here for the EDC experts. Do not...

    P38A P38 EAS SOS

+1 on do the footwell connectors, but I don't think that's the problem. The left footwell connector carries the signals to the height switch & BECM, so bad connections there only stop the switch working. More likely is a sensor or driver pack connector issue, so the ECU thinks the car is...

    Replacement CV Joints - FL1 TD4

I don't think the front CV are available separately. We did my son's 2004 recently. He has full trade access to all the supplier databases, and tried every one, but in the end we had to get the full driveshaft complete with CV's.

    P38A P38 2.5 dse engine noise?

RAVE says "at least 20 bar", so as the lowest is 360psi = 24bar, I would agree they are ok..

    Change Hevac Controler

Also try using output to drive motors & see if feedback responds.

    AUTO GEARBOX PROBLEMS

+1 on double check the fluid level according to RAVE. Also check diagnostics.

    Change Hevac Controler

Do you actually have Nanocom communicating with HEVAC. If distribution motor doesn't work there should be a at least a fault for that showing? Does the Inputs menu show when you select the direction buttons ?

    P38A P38 EAS SOS

Also I have stuff to fill the tank & raise the car even with the delay relay removed or ECU disconnected. I.e. get you home mode !!

    Change Hevac Controler

Have you tried Nanocom output menu to move motors and engage the compressor ? Also the compressor not engaging could be the clutch or low AC gas. Both can bring on book symbol with HEVAC in Auto mode.

    Change Hevac Controler

The later JFC102550 is supposed to have an extra relay for the compressor clutch. Some people (including me) have found it works fine without the relay in 1997 or earlier cars. After 1998, land rover added a relay to provide better voltage to the compressor. When you say the "motors are...

    P38A P38 EAS SOS

There a few of us en-route between Chichester & Leicester with Nanocom or EASunlock. I'm in Langley near M4 J5 with Nanocom. Possibly available between 11am & 1pm ? Theres also a couple of others near me, plus some in Bucks.

    P38A P38 EAS SOS

Look here & click the map link. But I cannot see anyone near chichester. Quickest option is to download EAS-Unlock V3 (the free version), and order of make a cable. https://www.landyzone.co.uk/land-rover/the-lzir-map.264099/

Loud moaning noise when braking in reverse?

Maybe get the EBP re-calibrated as well as the above ?

Reversing sensor stopped working - any ideas?

Probably best to start at the back !! . . . . . . . . . Depends on the car. My son has them on his FL1 TD4, but they never worked properly. When we had to replace the bumper, we cleaned up all the wiring. If I remeber correctly they worked a bit better, but only 3 out of 4 working...

P38 Manual seats to Electric (again)

Just realised the info I posted bove is for the non-memory power seats. If your are memory seats then things are a bit different, but you can still power them without BECM mods, but not sure how the memory outstation behaves. My memory seats definitely worked on the bench withouyt BECM when...

What did you do with your Range Rover today

That would work. The armature, brushes, piston, etc are all good on mine. As I already have spare pumps in the boot of both P38, another spare could wait in the garage for that fatal day !! Getting it safely from Rotherham to Langley is another story. Otherwise I could post you the other...

P38 Manual seats to Electric (again)

If you put the elecric seat upside down on a workmate or table, it's easier to access the connectors. If I remember correctly when I was fixing a short on mine, I simply applied 12V and ground to C951, and then all the motors worked. Pins 1 & 2 = 12V Pins 3, 4 & 7 = ground But check the pins !!

P38 Manual seats to Electric (again)

Fuses F10 & F20 are the power feeds for the seats. All you need is to feed the power to the relays, and connect the required ground wires to simulate what the BECM does. There are some other ground wires on various connectors under the seats, but all the 12V goes via these relays.

What did you do with your Range Rover today

I have an old P38 compressor with same magnet issue . . . . but in my case it happened when the motor casing rolled off the bench. If anyone has one with knackered armature but good magnets ??
