I presume ordered at dealer. Then factory sends it to LRSV for the changes, and then back to the dealer for collection or delivery. Who knows, I'm too poor to buy a new car.

It's a really old system at LRSV & apparently only one guy who whows how to use it !! FYI, the sheets look like this:

It's also got this one on the lower tailgate. LRSV confirmed the car is genuine & provided me with the original build sheet !!

P38 windshield wiper liquid not spraying?

The BECM Menu on Nanocom simply tells you if the buttons are working. As said above check the voltage at BECM outputs.

Other What camera system are you using?

Front camera helps with insurance price (and the claim if someone pulls out in front of you). Many insurers these either ask about dash cam, or specify you need one !! Hence why I have cheapo one !!

Freelander 1 Central Locking Unlocking but not locking

@Jimbo70 That screenshow doesn't help others that might want to buy them. Maybe post a link to the AliExpress instead.

    freelander 1 sunroof motor

The leak on my Son's FL1 was corrosion around the glass frame, plus lots of mouldy growth arounbd the roof aperture (due to the leak). We ended up grabbing a complete sunroof assembly on eBay, which was then stripped to make a good one out of the two. Did the motor and the sliding gears at...

    Odometer reset?

+1 on using smartphone. I have compared my iPhone to my Android stereo GPS & TomTom, and they all give the same speed. My Green P38 reads about 5mph high at 70mph, but my Blue P38 is almost spot on (maybe 1mph fast.) Either way I'm never speeding when using the speedo !! Nanocom info for...

    L322 Venture cam, not connecting

Does it auto-dim depending on headlights behind like the P38 mirror ?

Other What camera system are you using?

Dash cam is a cheap Amazon job that records 30 second segments on memory card. Turned off G-sensor because it filled the memory with locked videos every time I went over local speed humps !! Rear camera is cheap 45deg mounted in number plate light plastic, and connects to my Android stereo...

P38 windshield wiper liquid not spraying?

Front & rear pumps are driven driectly by BECM. Headlamp wash is linked to the headlamp wiper control. Nanocom also has Input status and ouput control for wash, so you can easily check if it's the Stalk, BECM Output, Motor or wiring.

P38A Unrepairable EAS fault after side steps fitted?

When I was installing the engine on my project, I put 3x6mm tees on the airlines so I could inflate all in one go. Made getting the car higher or lower quick & easy, but def 60psi for normal height. Height is mostly air volume & not pressure, so anything above that is a waste of air (hot...

Freelander 1 Central Locking Unlocking but not locking

If the eBay lock is working, you could just use the motors to repair yours ? Or maybe take one of yours apart & check the motor part number. Motors like these are still used in loads of vehicles, and there's various China suppliers that make them. There's usually a number like these, but...

P38A Unrepairable EAS fault after side steps fitted?

Take a trolley jack as well. Rather than trying to inflate from bump stops (especially if they're folded), lift the body just enough to take the weight off the bags, and then inflate them bit by bit. 50-60psi is usually plenty to get them to Normal height.

    Odometer reset?

I tried the electric drill method on a mechanical Odo many years ago, but it would only go forwards !! Never tried moving the cogs in case I damaged it.

P38A Unrepairable EAS fault after side steps fitted?

Best option is the Schrader valves suggested above. Otherwise if you do the bump stop drive to Langley, just off M4-J5, I can help you get the airbags inflated again.

P38A Unrepairable EAS fault after side steps fitted?

I suspect the airbag lifetime depends on temperature extremes where people live, as well as how often they are used. As far as getting the car moved, did you actually try jacking the body a little bit & inflating the bags ? Also you said the car is in Salisbury which is not that far from...
