Disco 1 Just discovered(sorry...) this clip of Kenilworth flooded road with deep wading

The rozzers can be right dicks at times! I was coming home one night after work. It had been raining a lot and i was experiencing flooding in places i'd never seen before. I was in my S2(avatar) When i got to the traffic lights where i can get home by either going straight on or turning left, i...

It's from 2020. I wondered if it features any fellow nutters from here?

Land Rover Owner Magazine no more

I subscribed to the mag at the show. I rarely read mags so i've got two years worth stacked on the bedroom floor still unopened. Next to them a similar number of Practical Performance Cars. I've just subscribed to Land Rover Monthly online. At least that will free up some floor space 😁

Does anyone actually have a 100% working Landy?

My 1961 Series 2 once had a 'battery inciden'. Travelled to see a mate who rebuilds Citroen 2CVs and Dyanes minus everything above the bulkhead vents, including windscreen. (it was that day when the sun came out and didn't rain) While leaving his garage bumping over the rough ground the engine...

    Dating evidence

What Galladog said. I just got one for my 101 to clear up a whole lot of WTF? V5 said it was manufactured in 1982, rebuilt - assembled using parts some or all of which were not new. Year of first use 1998 And it is an X reg which is 1981 The certificate stated it was manufactured in 1977, which...

    Sausage smuggling

That's not good. So all a terrorist has to do is wrap his cemtax in an opened cheddar wrapper to get it through customs? EEEK!

    Welder advice.

R-Tech are a good make. We had a 200amp AC/DV set at my last place for welding the aluminium flood barriers. When i get my garage built an AC tig machine will be high up on my list!

Woke or just a eco idiot

They could change the new EV car tax to one based on weight instead of what comes out of the tail pipe.

Woke or just a eco idiot

If memory serves it was a Jaguar E Pace hybrid. I think the biggest critisism was that the relatively new multi story had been built without a sprinkler system. It wouldn't have put out the original car as the batteries produce their own oxygen to feed the fire, but would have helped with the...

Woke or just a eco idiot

I support the Fully Charged channel on Youtube. I only watched it because it is presented by Robert LLewellyn of Red Dwarf fame. I'd have an EV tomorrow but for the same reason why i drive an old Ibiza and BMW instead of a new F-Type Jag. I can't afford the one i want. They are all 30k+ and i...

Woke or just a eco idiot

If you're only travelling five miles get a bike. No D3 exposed to keys, save on fuel and get fitter. It's a win win win situation

Buzzweld 2k epoxy primer mask requirements?

No disrespect to JulianF, but wouldn't your paint supplier be a better place to get safety information than here?

    MU 84 AA...Flambee'd

My 1977 101's army reg number is 72GJ27. That bonfire's is MU84AA. When did they swap number-letter-number to letter-number-letter? Was there a specific date or does the MOD use both?

Is there a 101 buying guide around here?

Hey, i'm already there. Look at where the 101 is parked. Come summertime i'm going to be having agro from the council complaining about how they can't mow the grass.

    Great Billing 2024

Some people are VERY optimistic... The more i think about it the more i'm liking me running the 101 down the strip! I'm not optimistic, just not shy

    INSA TURBO Risko MT

I had a set of Insa Turbo Risko MT on my Disco 1. I found they were quite grippy on road in the wet and very good off. I paid about £85 each about four years ago.
