Well, when I go for a drive it's country lanes but very steep hills and maybe the occasional 'detour' on a few tracks. Then there's the pooling around town or the 900m drive to the local coop and back. Because its cold. And I'm lazy. And I won't take the diesel Audi on such short journeys...

Better off with silicone spray - it won't eat the rubber that's on these and is designed for it.
