They asked about the other vehicles; I guess it's about how good a driver you are or the risk. Anyway, I got it insured with Admiral.. For less than 1/3rd of what AF wanted.

AF have been crap for years. Many moons ago, I insured my Monaro with them (5.7 v8, ls1). I was in my mid 20's and it was just under 1k. Asked them to quote me for my new l322 4.4 tdv8 - over £1k with 8 years no claims (and a total of 14 on other cars).

Went for a wee drive around the country roads and single track stuff around the Lammermuirs. Then sorted a to do list for the P38.

Went for a wee drive to a decent chippy.. Ate said chippy food.. Drove home. Was good.

Caliper covers are awful at the best of times but.. On a Rangerover? Come on..

Meh, it's a 'public' area so I don't mind too much. Once all the house works etc have been done things will get back to normal.

I had/have this exact problem. I replaced the ecu and it made no difference. Only thing I haven't done is replaced the diag port but from what I can see, it really isn't bad at all. My Nanocom freezes when trying to access EAS stuff too, works with everything else

Well, I love my Audi so that can't go and officially, I'm the owner and keeper of the Mini but I did buy it for my daughters birthday so I can't, really, get rid of that. I guess it stays as 4 for now though it is a good time to sell a 4x4!

Seeing them like that makes me want to keep the P38 but sensible me says who needs 4 cars when you need to park on the street?

Had the P38 for 7 years.. ... I'm waiting for the honeymoon period to be over. Had the fault codes read today.. 31. Cleared down to 3. Onwards and upwards!

Do it! I'm 48 hours of ownership in to mine and LOVE it.
