Put the first 700 miles on me new clutch. Torfaen to Humberside to Lancashire and back to Torfaen. Used about 70 litres of fuel which is incredible economy for our hippo :)

Yep. Followed your guide closely. Lifted the IRD into place with the engine still lowered but it would just not go home. I have a blanking plate instead of a rear drive pinion so couldn't turn the box over to align the splines. Had to secure it half in and lift the engine back up before shoving...

Long 10mm 1/4" socket with an OD that matched the ID of the bearing inside the flywheel, a 1/4" extension bar (6" long) and an old 1/2" socket that with an OD that matched the ID of the clutchplate splines (bit of a mouthful, sorry). Expanding to 225/70/R16 will make your tyres wider, not taller. 215/80/R16 if you want taller. Not sure if that's an available size on the Geolanders, though. :)

Head off is really the only way you'll be able to clean inside there. I'm wary of additives and treatments that claim they can clean inside the cylinder. The injector cleaner I used once just caused more problems. I'm sure it cleans the lines, etc but where is all that 'dirt' going? Forced...

You mean the injector bore? I just used a few very small bursts of brake cleaner in each bore to clear them. I'd attached a piece of soft sponge to a long screwdriver then pushed it into the hole and spun it around as I pulled it back out. Went in clean, came out dirty so that worked well imo...
