I removed the bungs in mine, tapped the hole and fitted a threaded push fit.

Has anyone got a Defender front axle case? The later one with M16 radius arms. Ideally close to Bromley, Crawley or Sittingbourne.

Yeah it happens. Must be tightened to 176nm. Driven, checked, re tourqed at least twice. Then knock the washer in place again. I did mine up with my buzz gun, then torqued if. Wasnt tight enough, drove around for a couple days and had come a touch loose.

Might be true but I hated the BCU, the P38 era wiring, its size, its weight and lack of parts support compared to a Defender. That and being called a Gypsy 🤣
