Mine were in similar but better condition that that. Even with heat, pen fluid one turn of the spanner the head rounded off. Cut the ball off and replace or get a new axle case. In my case a full axle swap was considerably quicker.

Modified ITG so it actually has a proper seal. Can't believe ITG let them leave the factory like this. Just doesn't seal against the airbox. Somehow Terrafirma and the other cheap brands get it right 🫠 Changed the EGR/Inlet Gasket + RTV. No more boost leak! Smokes reduced. So that's far better.

Few bits today 😁 Coloured matched tread plates for the rock sliders Test fit the hi-lift cubby & latch. All fits well! Also secured the drawers down and added some cargo tracks - no pics as covered in ****. The carpet I bought isn't great quality so that's probably going to get changed...

Variable geometry turbo. Basically acts like a small turbo at low rpm. Then vanes open at higher rpm and acts like a larger turbo.

Get the britpart sachets. They have a plastic spout make filling 10x easier. Those flexi plastic ones just make a mess! Top tip - drop em in some warm water for 10mins, help the grease flow.

Just realised it's been about a year! Can't believe how much I got done in a year, considering last time it took almost 5 😅 It's still not finished but is a Land Rover ever finished 😂 Still though very happy with how it's looking. Definitely been a therapeutic process.

Sliders designed, cut and fabricated by myself all fitted. Not the easiest thing to fit alone! Still need a little tweaking to get the fit bang on but they fit, first time so I'm happy! Got some stainless treadplates to sit on top, break up the bulky design a little. Will be painted bronze...

Ive always liked the white pop! So far likeing the BFGs, certainly not worth the price tag if I where to buy again id get Falkens or Toyos. Though the BFs came to me with less than 200miles on them for less than £500 so cant complain!

Evos are on! They do look lovely! Just need to clean the flanges 😅 and some tyre black 😎😎 The "HD" Wheel nuts i had left over dont fit the Evos well so ordered some standard gloss black ones
