That might be the pnly one they used? I dunno, if it was used for water they wouldnt have paint on them, that is assuming a hose was fitted. What does it look like on the inside? It could have been for a breather maybe? Battery compartment breather?

It obviousley wasnt used for water, could be to stop the cleat thing from being knocked inwards if bumped.

Engine and chassis will be easiest, main harness will be dash out. Its dooable, just be methodical. Change one at a time so you dont just rip it all out and leave yourself in a pickle.

Diesel leak from throttle spindle, I think. Ive cleaned it off and will run it up to confirm because the bleed screw was also wet, hopefully its the bleed screw! Old filter was clogged, running a lot better with the new filter on there.

It just cuts out for a second or two when driving, on the odd occasion it surges, sometimes changing gear throttle release is slower. Usually, when its been driven a while this all clears up. It needs a filter so Im going to start there.

Turned out it was full of air, took it down to Off-road. Rovers and we bled the bejesus out of it, works fine now.

It's the old type, union screw connection on one pipe and hose with jubilee clip on the rear of the pump, from memory. Box is the one with 5 or 6 bolts, can't remember, the one with the most bolts! I retro fitted all this over a decade ago, think it came from. 110.

19j, makes a horrendous noise, when stationary it's bad, not so bad the faster I drive, my first thoughts were pas pump, Pas works but not great, also, how interchangeable are the pumps?

Are they inline on the wire from switch to accessory, or, are they fed from switch accessory feed then to earth?

I would be careful about ''you are in there, you might as well do it'' , why change a clutch with 150k left in it? or a fuel tank with 4 or 5 years left in it, change whats broken and cannot be fixed, fix what is broken that can be fixed, leave the rest alone. The rest is going to happen one day...

A lot of that isnt on the chassis, and what is is repairable, I would get what I can patched then get some oil into it. Some of that is on the bulkhead, Id be more worried about that than a few patches on the chassis.

I've done the box and plenum chamber last winter, but I noticed scale coming out when I rinsed out the matrix.

How did you get the matrix in? it looks totally different.

Its not leaking, but its an old brass one, so its ancient. My guess is its original (1985). Are the new ones better? Would there be better output with a new one?

Dont they drop the window when they think the battery is flat?
