Dont weld the tunnel to the bulkhead, you will never get the bolts in for the gearbox , this is before and after cutting for the tunnel.

From memory I just used big washers, I will have a look later. Use your original diaphragm to map out the tunnel position on the bulkhead, the part that bolts between the bulkhead and the tunnel bit over the gear box. You can then drill the holes etc, One tip is to weld nuts behind the holes...

In the centre of the dash there will be wiring block, from memory its red/white for dash lights.

Thats a TD5 bulkhead, they fit, tunnel needs cutting out to the diaphragm shape, wiper mechanism will fit but you have to cut the brackets, a few extra holes here and there and the wiper motor needs fixing, its all doable.

A lot of people will swap out an engine but leave everything else original, not a massive issue but it leaves things a bit of a mess in the engine bay, then there are thinks like coolant pipes, exhaust down pipes etc etc, for instance, 300 tdi to lt77 , its easily dooable but the engine sits...

Its a damper, it screws off, there is a tiny ball bearing inside so be careful as it might drop out, the ball bearing can only be bought in bulk at the cost of a small fortune.

30 amps means you need 30+ amp cable, the fuse is there to protect the cable , not the accessory it runs. 30 amp cable seems a bit of overkill for a heated screen.

Are you using led's? There is a current bleed at the warning lamp on the dash, also the hazards may be able to cause this, a faulty hazard switch perhaps. Id be dubious that an earth is causing it but Id probably still start there anyway.

Dipped has two fuses for left and right, so it must draw from dipped before the fuses, then into the fog fuse. Its a barmy set up, way too much going on on the wrong side of the fuse.
