Check your vacuum filter int blocked [it drives the egr and the turbo flap fing] so looking at engine td4 only on lhs at rear of air filter cowell [behind it] is a small open ended filter on a small tube , change it if it aint bin done in a while [often forgoten about] hope this helps Earthling :)

so i took the rear panel off, took out the four screws holding motor to the gearbox to the regulator[bit that drives the stainless wires:D] and pulled motor away just a tad [so spleen is free] cut the two wires that drive the motor blue/black and blue/green and with a spare 12volt battery...

OK I know I'm a rockit enginear but even i has problems ;) ok so my rear bit jammed and i could not open the friggin door:mad: so after giving Porky a good kickin i disconnected the battery ,this normally sends the window down [nuffink] but now i could open the rear door ,but glass was still up...

could be a ht lead breaking down, best change plugs first, if you still have the problem check leads, a good check is looking in the dark for any arcing , wear some good rubber gloves and a stick and move the leads to see if any arcing :):):)
