Not unless I can get the blighters to work! I've connected to main beam wire and bulb tested and power is now reaching the relay. The fused wire works too and so do the lights when I directly touch their live wire to the battery so why isn't the relay relaying????

Yeah they look rubbish too. I think that is the weak link. There's no click from the relay. Any ideas on a better way to splice into the high beam?

Lights are 50w leds and there's 4 of them. The kit is a 30 amp kit rated for 4 55w lights either led or normal. Twin core is good for up to 27amps so I'm well in the limit or are the specialist 12v solar/ battery camper van electrics fitters wrong? The I structions with the kit tell you to daisy...

Yeah I got one of those kits from bolt on bits. 30 amp fuse and decent twin core. The lights are 50w led bit I reckon they only draw 5 amps each.

Is this wire side or from the front?

The fact that I've spliced into the wrong wire, I think, although looking at the diagram I may be right. So either the scotch connector is rubbish, I haven't connected it properly or the relay is pants.

Hmmm that would account for why the relay isn't triggering. I've wires up my roof spots and they don't come on. The wiring is fine as I've directly connected them to the battery just to test them so it's either the wrong wire I've connected to or crap relay.

Anyone?

I'm fitting roof spots just need to confirm colour and locatin on back of bulb connector as the wires are too grimy to make out any help appreciated.

Hmmm oddly same thing happened here too. Maybe we could end drought by greasing UJs in foreign climes?

Ive jist got under and greased my UJs and they were a little on the dry side. So get under yours and grease away. For the sake of a 5 min job can save you some dosh on UJ failure.

Yeah found a used on 30 quid. Don't understand why the rave says the lower sliders come apart when they're all one piece on mine.

Right, I'm at that stage where I want to smash the thing up. I'm trying to fit a new piece of glass in a 110 csw 300tsi 97 plate. I'm following the rave manual. Only problem is it's telling me to remove the lower window slides bit I can't becais e they're all connected as one piece all the way...
