    "Sound proofing"

I've just used Noise Killer and it's defi itely taken the edge off of the noise. Dulled it at least and I've still not finished the doors or rear footwell or roof so maybe further reductions to be had.

    Raining cats and dogs

I sealed the roof joins with greenhouse tape and left breather holes above the rear door. That stopped mine so I think there is or was a combo of water ingress and condensation which stopped after i sound proofed the roof. No more leaks at all.

The bulk purchase was my idea so I want a big bunch of flowers as a thank you. I had a good chat with Battenberg about using both Boast pin and Boost ring concurrently. He very succinctly explained the jobs both add ons do but recommended getby an EGT fitted which is another great excuse to buy...

    Mud and snow tyres

They're fine Mate. Drive slow and enjoy it. If the Land looks a bit greasy get out and walk a bit first. If in any doubt about a side slope that is very wet don't drive it and go elsewhere.

I quite often remotely lower the trailer gate and do a high speed hand brake turn. Then I don't even have to stop to let them out as the centrifugal force flings them all over the yard. It's saves quite a bit of time.

I've got a very young but old 110. 48 k on it although it's a 97 300tdi. She's definitely more fruity with what I've done so far and once I've done the Intercooler and turbo he'll be ticking along lovely.
