    Very dangerous things. Bear in mind they're designed to pivot to get your vehicle out of a rut. The higher you go the easier it is to lose control of it and get the whole lot on your foot. Don't use it for tyre changing etc. It's a recovery tool and that's it. Use a bottle jack.

    Just done my 2 least favourite jobs. The ball joint on the steering drop arm, fecking seemingly small job, major arse ache getting that cap in then the fitting the sirclip then the pishing boot spring holder thingy. I found this guide useful from another forum...

    Mate put all of the bolts in loose then tighten them up. It fits under tension.

    Hey Mate. They line up centrally. A little jiggling is required and if I were to do it again I'd weld in brackets rather than use the extending rails as they are a little high. Other than that they're ideal.

    I used a boost pin first, loads of black smoke but after I fitted the boost ring it all went. I've used 2 shims for a while now but might drop to 1. Very happy with it.
