Ok seals and o rings changed, injectors all adjusted. Sod still wont start. Crank position sensor maybe? I’ve had the nanocom on it with no faults shown.

Well thats the injector loom changed, the old one was rammed with oil. Cleaned out the eco too. Excitedly i started it up and .... the same going to do the washers and seals as james suggests next. I presume if a washer has a slight leak it could be pressurising the fuel system with air...

Cheers Brian, I’ve ive done these looms many times before, but only as a precaution after seeing oil on the plug. Never actually had any running problems caused by it. Hopefully this is it, I imagine if it’s causing mega issues it means the ecu will be chokka with oil so I’ll strip that out too...

i did clean out the harness the other week, I've never had one been affected by oil before so wasn't sure of the symptoms. Ill crack open the eco tomorrow and have a look. ta

Ah balls I left it purging fir about ten minutes,with another new pump in it. Oil levels started going up Injector seals time

Aye I’ve been thinking along those lines, I happen to have s new valve from a few years back, I’ll dig that out and fit it tonight. Worth a try, it’ll either sort it or rule it out.

Will see if I can bodge a pressure indicator onto it, I’m sure I’ve got something kicking about

Rather irritatingly the wifes disco started being a little bugger yesterday as well. Runs ok for a few seconds, but then seems to be misfiring and loses loads of power, bit of smoke etc. And the fuel pump on that DOES sound rough as a badger. So thats on the list to get sorted this weekend...

found on this forum. It is correct. Annoyingly the previously owner has hacked out a piece of the boot floor to improve the access to the fuel pumps. Bit aggressive really! The pump is a new one from bear mach, unless its a duff'un of course

It’s a 2004 in black, manual and was supposed to be on air but they had fitted a coil conversion kit. Gave £1000 for it 2 days before Xmas. Bargain!!! Just fitted all the kit and the air systems now working perfectly. Rides sssooooo much better. Cost for the 2 new air bags, compressor...
