Thanks for all the replies, I've got this sorted now. Got a tank off a facelifted 3 door. While the tank is physically the same, i had to swap the fuel sender over. The pipes are all different and had to be made to fit.

I got an automec kit when I rebuilt mine, had to swap 2 ends on front flexis and make another pipe cos one from master cylinder to prv was too short.

Sorry to mither again, but my vehicle is a V plate (99?) 5 door, will a later year model or a 3 door tank be the same? Thanks.
