hi guys, occasionally when I go out to start my 2007 defender there is no power whatsoever, like battery totally flat, wait a couple of minutes then try again and it's just like nothing is wrong. Also a couple of times while I've been driving all power goes engine cuts out for a split second...

When I broke down (suprise suprise) the AA man told me about some stuff you only get in Ireland but I'm ****ed if I remember what it was.

any recommendations lads or are they a waste of hard earned?

Hi guys, need a wee help again. Tried to change the stereo in my 2007 defender. Now after cutting wires and connecting them again, when I start the engine, nothing no power to the stereo also noticed that when the engine is off the clock doesn't work and the odometer? Resets back to 0. Any ideas?

Yip batteries fine, just struggles to start occasionally but does always start.

Always wait till the glow plug light is off before starting. Only does it very occasionally maybe once twice a week at most.

occasionally when I start my 2007 defender it is very sluggish turning over kinda like having very little charge in the battery. Other times it starts no bother. Any ideas guys?

I either wave or give them "the nod" no happy when they don't wave back though. Days ruined.

Hi guys, Im looking to replace my sliding side windows on my 2007 90 with solid ones, possibly tinted, can anybody point me in the right direction re where to get them including seals etc etc, Cheers.

Haha now you tell me. Was desperate at the time but can assure you all I won't be paying that again. Got a flange in with the job as they come in pairs so i was told, so cant wait till the next one goes..... haha good ain. Thanks again guys for all your advice, very much appreciated

Cheers guys, I kinda know i've been ripped off but at the time i never really had any other option. In future i will do these things myself with help from you guys.

Great just what I didn't want to hear. Is there any easy signs to look for? Car has just under 70.000 miles on the clock, is that a kinda ballpark milage these things go at?

I know this might be how longs a piece of string type question but is it likely to occur anytime soon on other half shafts or flanges?
