Sounds like you are at a bit of a stand off now with the garage. I don't know about the links to the repairs you had and the troubles you have now but with regards to the situation you are now in - i would pay their bill and ask for a full receipt listing all work done, also ask for the parts...

If You remove the 5 amp fuse in the engine fusebox for the battery back up sounder them that will stop you annoying your neighbours while you sort it out. Worked for me on sunday morning.

Not fixed! - put two new relays in and within an hour they got warm with the car turned off. Voltage read 9.2v dropped from 12.3 in the same time period. Took relays out and voltage went back up to 11.3v. According to main dealer i don't have the latest rf receiver going off my chassis number...
