Going back to 16"s from 18"s

Thanks for replies......i have got new bags and shocks all round plus anti roll bar bushes, steering damper and i'm hoping the tyres will be the final piece in the jigsaw, i will be doing some pay and play type off roading so maybe 16s are the best option. What other bushes are worth changing?

Going back to 16"s from 18"s

Anybody gone back to 16" wheels mainly because of comfort and optimum ride? If so, is there a noticable difference with the extra rubber? Keep seeing good 16" sets going on ebay for not much money and new tyres for that size appear to be cheaper. I still want them to look good of course so with...

    range rover stolen in riots

A lot of crap spoken on here! Nothing to do with the government, wealthy people.......just look at the spread of the mongs who were rioting, some with jobs, good prospects, decent families and alot of lazy sick notes who have no intention to work even if a good job was on their doorsteps. Its...

Tyres - P38a 18" - Please advise so can order...

I did look for Geolanders as i had them on my Forester and they were brilliant but i don't think they come in 18" 255 as i did search. Cheapest Grabbers i've seen are Camskill at £134.

P38 rease tabs for thickie please

I've reconnected mine as it made no discernable difference to the drain i experienced, mainly because i only listen to Talk Sport on AM frequency and the reception was shocking, mind you even connected the reception is crap compared with FM. Keep looking out for something that will boost the signal.

P38 rease tabs for thickie please

I found it a complete pain to get that piece of trim clipped back on so if you can squeeze your hand in without removing it that would be better in my experience.

    New on here

I've got a 51 plate Vogue which is black with ivory leather and as things have become tight recently i'm leaning towards selling it but it would be more than your budget at 8.5k. Still it is mint, no faults and running perfectly and only 63k miles and has 12 month MOT. Paid 7.5k for it less...

Off road tyres and your experiences

Tyre choice with a P38 seems to be such a lottery - I must replace mine in next few weeks but i'm not really nailing it to one choice so far. I won't be buying Scorpions again or anything towards £200 a tyre, more like £120-140 probably. General Grabbers do seem to be well liked by a lot...

    P38 questions.!!

To check airbags and from experience i would either turn up early for your viewing hopefully before he warms the car up or go back a few hours later if you can see the car from the road to see if it has dropped. From my own recent experience of buying a 2001 vogue i would reinforce the point...

    This calibration lark is hard!

Level ground is harder to find than i thought, ended up doing it on the very slightest of inclines, maybe Tesco car park will be better. I did experience what you are saying there though when cycling the heights and it not coming back to where it had been set. Will have another attempt soon as.

    This calibration lark is hard!

Thanks Irish Rover, you carry on with the brandy now! I have already got the physical measurements but I'm interested to see your settings, might throw them on mine and see what happens. Cheers.

Thanks for that Kooky Guy - had a read and it looks like two of the values i was putting in were out of the acceptable range according to the figures Wammers posted so hopefully if i adjust these it will sort my problem out.

    Calibration gone wrong - Help

Sorted it myself for tonight....back up and running but have put all the values back to where they were so nothing achieved in over 4 hours! My connection had gone bad because i saw that i had bent two of the OBD pins when connecting it the second time, managed to straighten those back and got...

I did need to change some values as some heights were out by up to 20mm so i did that and wrote the changes, unplugged everything and i've been left with an eas fault message now and can't seem to clear...
