Don't worry mate i got my first 4x4 stuck on a muddy field too......wet grass is the worst surface bar none.
I'm guessing by the depth of those tyres you just continued to try and wheelspin your way out? when maybe something else should have been tried. I think its called laddering when you...
I have been perfectly happy with the 110ah battery i got last year but if i was to get another i would get the 130ah datatek recommends just for the hell of it and because its the biggest. :) I have used battery megastore and Tanya and have no complaints with either.
Looks good - is the head unit an undulgence at that price or do you need to spend that much to get the quality. Lost track of aftermarket stereos as not bought one for 15 years. Given the speakers/amp already in the car could you get away with a cheaper unit?
Did you even look at the car before you bought it?
I am glad its sorted though, and hopefully you will be fault free for some time so that you can trust the car.
Do your research on some battery websites and insist on the most powerful battery that will fit, there are many similar owners who have had this problem and a battery upgrade has fixed it but as already said its the dealer who should be sorting it for you. Mate or no mate you have parted with...
From what I've read later Range Rovers are plagued by battery problems even more than P38's and cold weather, loose connections and standing on a forecourt will certianly affect it but if you are certain it has been replaced rather than charged then check the dimensions etc of what has been put...

Thanks , mine is nearly standard except for LPG, newer wheels, and painted bumpers and grill. Spotted two nice ones on Autotrader, best one is green but thats better than black imho. Happy hunting

Easy to see why the P38 still rocks... after giving it a dose of Autoglym HD Cleanser and HD Wax today it looks as good as new and in no way looking dated IMHO.
well thats only marginally better than i get on average on LPG. Your £123 ish quid of diesel would get me 2.5 tanks of lpg plus the V8 grunt. :fencing::amen:
I've had a 23k Disco 3 and now have an 2001 P38 on LPG, much prefer the P38 and as already said parts are cheap in comparison. Just as capable too as i proved to myself again today at Cowm leisure.
If i had you choice i'd find an 2002 Vogue SE P38 with low miles for 7k max. I doubt you'd...
