Hi guineafowl, the hose is from the pressure regulator to the front of the cylinder head. The regulator end is easy to get off its the other end that looks difficult. The leak is from the swage on the metal pipe to rubber hose.

Had a look at the plug and all around, no sign of oil at all. I'll have a look at the connectors on the throttle pedal next.
