Someone suggested that the Crank Position Sensor may be to blame as there are no diagnostic codes and engine dies when hot and fails to start?

Have removed the intercooler, doesn't appear to be blocked and I can blow down it ok. Am getting it cleaned out tomorrow, there is a bit of oil in the bottom. The air filter was dirty, so will change that, pipes are ok, no blockages. The water pump has been replaced as it was squealing. The...

Have put a new filter on. No difference though. 5 minutes after starting the large hoses to the intercooler are squashing themselves then the engine stalls.

Will change it this morning. Seems I have done 10,000 miles since last service just over 4 months ago! Have also ordered a new water pump as it is squealing.

I'll take it for a run tomorrow and then check to see if the plugs are on after the engine has warmed up. The compressor seems to be in the way of #1 and didn't want to remove it, so I have left changing it for a bit, although if I had put a new one it it wouldn't have made any difference...
