Electronic distributor

Having not being able to start my 2.25petrol it turns out that he collar on the 25d distributor has worn away enough so that it no longer grips. I've ordered an electric replacement. Does anyone have any tips or things to watch out for when fitting. Cheers

Hi The series 3 petrol I bought 6 months ago has had the oil bath filter removed and had a filter fitted direct to the carb. After total power loss while driving then engine stopping I removed breather head I found it was very clogged with mayonnaise. Could this cause the problem or should I...
