    Damn!! The ashtray retaining clips are hard to get to in a Disco!

    Simple! All you have to do is rip the centre consol out with a screwdriver and a drill, disconnect all the linkages and and drop the gearbox off it's mounts. Disconnect both props and undo a few bolts and with the xfer box in low range, slide it off....take the steering wheel orf and dismantle...

    Why did you buy a disco!!

    My mate developed a brain tumor and had his licence revoked, so I bought his Disco as he needed the funds. I promised I would never off road it and didn't until he died 6 months later...................I bet George is turning in his grave now! RIP George

    Although if you break me in half, I have got Land Rover written all the way through me.........you have to see this Jeep to believe it. Also my main competition in the club is Ted who runs a 1963 Willys jeep with a 4.6 Chevy Blazer in it. He is 72 and still rolls it on a regular basis.
