i just had to pick some friends up from the airport and i was so engrossed in catching up with them i failed to realise the handbrake was on, probably about 2 rungs from the top. i noticed the acceleration was a bit sluggish but put this down to having 6 passengers and luggage in the car, before...

a mechanic i know says it might just be a problem with the sensors. :confused: as you can probably tell i'm not an expert, part of the reason i joined this forum! obviously getting the airbags replaced would be a last resort.

on a '96 es. went to the main dealer last week to solve this problem before the MOT as i was told they were the only people who could sort it and it would fail otherwise. anyway they sorted it (after 5 hours and £167!) but today the f**king thing is back on. is this a common problem...

nail. on. head. :D and one of the number plate lights isnt working, which is even more worrying. :rolleyes:

whats the general concensus on Discoverys on here then? they look the dog's bollocks but fall apart a bit too much in my opinion.
