More info from my first post V8 stopping. V8 starts & runs, when v8 stops all dash lights go off & stay for a good 5 seconds then it lights up and you can start engine as normal, from it stopping and dash lights going off to coming back on I haven't touched anything.

i have a 90 with a 3.9 Range Rover classic engine installed that runs on petrol & Lpg, my problem is the v8 ticks over a dream on both fuels & then just cuts out, when you drive it, it goes along fine then cuts out, you then have to give it high revs to get it moving & sometimes it will cut out...

Hi i found & sorted the problem, it had a split in air filter hose, bit embarressed really, but cheers for the replys

Can anyone shine a light on this, my v8 90 which is running on lpg, sometimes backfires, or when it is going along at about 50/60 mph it seems like it has no power or looses power, when i pull over to the side of the road & rev the engine everything is normal, put it into gear drives normally...
