ok thanks, Will report back tomorrow. The guy who has rebuit it recons its because the stick has wear on it, says that when he opens it up he can select the gears ok and when the lid goas back on thats when it has a fault. Have taken it all off 6 times mow and still no joy:confused:

Will open the box up in the morning, and confirm. The detent springs do line up, when I have opened it up before. Cant recall any balls being in them. but it seems to be double selecting gears? I can not seem to resolve the problem. have there been many cases of this before?
