Am I taking you mean the earths that go to each threaded bar that secure the clicks in? Where do I find the earth strap please?

Cheers will try that now! But why do both go right to full/red?? Ar the joined by a common earth? What voltages should I see on the terminals? I have 12v on a post on each and 4v on the fuel gauge other terminal and 0.5v on the othe post on the temp gauge?????
