Does your pedal "skip" when braking over bumps?

If you dont confuse the TC with ABS light then you have a problem cos the ABS light is not supposed to "verify" when it kicks in , only the TC

Does your pedal "skip" when braking over bumps?

Can be ABS or EBD activity if you feel a judder in the pedal too ... what dimension tyres you have? BTW after the brake fluid replacement did you bleed it as in the book + power bleed?

ABS Erratic signal from Left rear

Then it's definitely a wiring issue, get a SSW500030 sensor and use it to rewire the whole circuit untill those pins at the ECU

    Disco 2 ABS

Afaik they are... if you replace it make the "option B" wiring mod for SVS on it before fitting to have one potential issue eliminated

    Disco 2 ABS

Hi, usually if that code keeps coming back intermittently the problem is within the modulator, no way around it other than to replace the whole modulator with a known good one

ABS Erratic signal from Left rear

And the fault code became "open circuit"?... if not you'll have to get to SLABS ECU connector C0505(attached) unplug it and measure resistance across pins 7 - 8 , you should get between 950 - 1100 Ohm with sensor conncted and zero with it unplugged, if it's this way replace the ECU, if different...

    Disco 2 P1843 can timeout

Check the ECM red plug, oil can affect the CAN signal too... also check connection in C0162/0448 white and yellow wires(pins 5-6) are the CAN link there, give some contact spray there... if these are ruled out and no joy you'll have to make a continuity check on that circuit between the ECM and...

Disco TD5 - SLS and Offroad lights on - No Fault

Disconnect the battery, swap the two sensors around, give contact spray to theyr's connectors then recalibrate and see if someting changes or not... if no change the ECU becomes suspect, as you have nanocom better change it cos good sh ones are not so expensive

Disco TD5 - SLS and Offroad lights on - No Fault

    1. is the vehicle fitted with ACE? 2. this SLS activity while braking happens all the time?... if you dont know exactly try to slow down gently as the vehicle to not lean forward at all, see what happens then and report.

    Disco 2 ACE faults

With engine runnning ... with bridged relay the ECU is completey active like when the relay is closed so the readings are more accurate while when the warning is on the relay is open and the ECU in a "passive" default... though as long as there is no serious activity in the tank i doubt that the...

Disco TD5 - SLS and Offroad lights on - No Fault

Hi, unfortunately nanocom used to miss SLS codes even if they are logged, only hawkeye is 100% reliable with these... btw, did you play with nanocom in the BCU settings? you should try to run a calibration on it.... rise it as to be at even level all around then store those heights

    Disco 2 ACE faults

It's in "outputs" but seems that the PCV is not covered only the DCVs and these are not so relevant now... if the warning lamp is on remove the ACE relay and bridge the contact's cavities(the two larger ones) in the fusebox then read again live inputs and post those

    D2 td5 Oil Light?

First of all connect earth to the sender's plug white/brown wire, if it works the sender is gone, if not insert a needle into the white/brown wire to pin 1 of C0448/0162 and give it earth with a wire... if the lamp comes on the problem is between this plug and the sender, if not it's probably...

    Disco 2 ACE faults

Seems that it's hydraulically blocked somewhere if not enough flow on the return ... the transducer has nothing to do with that.... the filter would be a good start, also you can check the PCV and DCVs with nanocom outputs, they should click on test.... if the PCV is stuck it can block the flow

    Disco 2 ACE faults

No problem how they look as long as they work well... many of them were removed just cos there was a pipe leak and the owner decided to convert the system and most of those owners are not caring much about theyr's vehicles... as an alternative try this guy, he's not the cheapest but very serious...

    Disco 2 ACE faults

Hi, nanocom is not the best when it comes to ACE fault codes but the gist is this: If no serious activity in the tank with engine running then the pump is gone or there is an airlock... protect somehow the adjacent area from oil spillage and undo partially the pump's outlet banjo with engine...
