Thanks, I have tried the top 2 earths, unscrewing them and reconnecting but they seem fine. I will try get hold of a voltmeter to try and determine the problem.

Thanks. In that compartment I found 3 earths in a row, i took the top 2 off and gave them a clean but nothing has changed. Thanks for the help. I will try and get my hands on a voltmeter.

Hi, just an update, I found out that the intercooler hose had a massive crack in it. I am now going to replace it, please could you let me know if I need a sealant when putting the new pipe on, or does it go straight on? Thanks.

Thanks for the info. Its more like a whirring noise, just sounds like the dashboard heaters have been turned up, but drops when i take foot off the accelerator. I have been researching the EGR valve/intercooler hose replacement and looks good. Thanks.
