Mine is the 5 doors too, the water ingress was coming in from where i bent the metal down with a 6lb hammer and a cloth on the metal so not to cause any damage to the metal

I had the same problem, i took off the seal and hammered the metal (about 2inches from bottom fight corner as you look at it) a few degrees down towards the bumper then replaced the seal , no wet boot now !!!. Edit: When i stated "replaced the seal" i put the original seal back on.
