after it was checked by the proffesional it has always been MOT'd at my local garage as is only 1 minute away, it failed its first mot on warped discs on the rear and worn shock bushes and that was it no chassis mension what so ever

Just a little more stabbing revealed the extent of the hole in mine, not to bothered as the surrounding material is thick enough for a patch to be welded on!

Just put it on today, and still need to put intercooler and brakes back on, so am not sure on my 300tdi, on a mates 200tdi it made quite a big difference in the cab! So I would imagine would be around the same for the 300tdi

Here is the ebay item number:- 170936666918 I can't remember if I bought the bigger or smaller sheet, but you will need to cut it to shape etc, you need to clean under the bonnet very well as it won't stick unless you do! I would get the bigger sheet the guy has though as you can use it all...

Also reprinted grill surround and bonnet slam plate and latch mechanism, and fitted some sound deadening under the bonnet!:D
