I posted a while back about an intermittent vibration at about 50mph on my 2004 1.8 Freelander. It was suggested that it was the VCU, or front CV joints, but I have not replaced either, as the problem disappeared for a while. Unfortunately, it has recently got much worse. At any speed over 40...

My 54 plate K series Freelander has started developing a nasty vibration when under load at certain speeds. It only really happens over 50mph when under load. It doesn't happen when coasting, or under load at slower speeds (eg at 30 mph on a steep climb). I've looked at a few similar threads...
