hello again , checked turbo boost ,checked diaphram, undid pipe from diaphram to turbo and ran engine but could'nt feel much in the way of vacuum or pressure coming from it so dont know if ok or not ? anyone!...may check timing next will update, ta.

no it was'nt immediate, done about 5000 miles on new belt just cant quite put finger on it , but used to be able to slightly hear the turbo doing its stuff under load but not now, so took hose off and could feel some pressure from turbo outlet so assumed it to be ok, then undid injector fuel...

Will go an check the pulley now, sorry should have mentioned before its a 110 county 1987.
