The stub and hub need replaced - they are pitted. Can I put the new style stub axle (seal on the inside) and hub onto the axle I have? Was there a change in axle flanges where the stub axle bolts on?

So is the full set up standard for an early disco? What is interchangeable for other parts? Is the axle ‘standard’ across the range and i need to change from stub outward? Is the hub the old style to match the old stub axle?

Yeh you are right. Not as much of an issue north Scotland (touch wood) and I have several other security products already. I want central locking for my convenience and if its not expensive for an additional level of protection (the motion sensor alarm) then I'd like to add that too
