    The classic is a pure pleasure to drive... I believe No matter how good it is or been kept up... at some point your going to have to work on it... which I find quite fun .... My vote is .... yes get one... They have turned from a novelty... to an investment... good luck on your quest...

    Have you looked at the wireing at the starter... If you changed it... maybe something got crossed or grounded ....

    To kill time and be different... I removed my roof rack... and added two pieces of 1.5 x 3/8 inch angle iron.. and attached them to my three Thule gutter mounts... I did this for the reinstall of my rooftop tent.. My roof basket has it too high to put into the garage... so I wanted the racks to...

    I believe all the Range Rover classic air conditioners were an afterthought... But a good one... The rear tube... if you have or had a sunroof There are four drain tubes... two in front... two in back...

    I too am guilty American... in Midwest But My drain pan just has a drain hose connected to it... I believe on two side that drain into one hose... if it is clogged A simple burst of air should clear it.., It may just be worn out or something... It is very easy to see it... Take a look..

    On a classic the ac drain goes through the firewall right behind the fans and condenser...the drain pan is there.. On a USA version that is in the passenger Footwell
