hi, i've had very little noise/vibration from the back prop but you could see the rubber coupling was distorted at all times. the front however is causing vibration as the prop seems to be at its fully extended length, i've seen someone on ebay selling propshaft spacers to counteract this...

problem solved after a phone call to rimmer bros, for anyone who wishes to do the same, rimmer bros do a four bolt flange kit with oil seals etc. for the 300tdi axle about £35 for pattern parts and £60 for genuine parts

Hi, on my 300 tdi the back and front windows are on seperate fuses in the main fuse box, as the same happened to me.

mine groans as well and just recently had a new belt etc. just figured it was normal as when i was looking to buy a disco every one that i drove did the same lol.

thanks for that, your forgiven lol. the cheapest silicone hose I've found on ebay is around £15 for half a metre but when you compare to some websites, thats fairly cheap.

any chance you could measure the entire length of the steel pipe plus the two flexible hoses to get an overall length for a single piece of hose? it would be greatly appreciated, I might even forgive you for the hijack lol

don't mention the EGR. I had just blanked mine off and was taking it out for a test when the fan disaster happened lol so I still don't know how much difference it makes

the pulley is just like an idler attached to the timing cover so if you had the correct length belt i don't see any reason you couldn't lose it?

Hi, i was thinking of fitting a kenlowe fan but I would still need to repair the pulley for the belt. if only someone would make a shorter drive belt to bypass that pulley lol
