    Hi everyone, well i've now replaced steering damper and the track rod end but now think it may be the front shocks so going to fit them soon and we will see!!!

    i've just found another person on here from about a month ago with what sounds like the same problem, think i'm gonna replace the steering damper first and take it from there, hopefully that will solve the problem but if anyone else has any other thoughts then please let me know thanks everyone:)

    have checked the bushes on the front and they seem ok, it's only started happening in the last 2 months and was quite scary when it fist happened!! so if it's not the bushes does anyone have any other ideas of what could be causing it?

    Hi, well i tried what James suggested and jacked up each front wheel at a time and got a nasty noise from drivers wheel so seems like it is the CV joint or halfshaft on the front. Gonna take wheel off tomorrow and investigate. will keep you all posted!! thanks again everyone :) Nat

    well i've started some debate havent i!!! i will jack up the front wheels and test like i did the rear ones. the clunk noise did seem to come from the front of the car but who knows. thanks everyone, will let you know what happens once the front wheels have been tested.

    Hi, i chocked front wheels and jacked up rear turning each rear wheel and they move freely. any more thoughts? could it be the transfer box?
