My 2003 Disco 2!has an ACE hydraulic hose leak. It’s leaking where the hose has rubbed the metal shelf where the battery sits, photo attached. Is it possible to fix the hole or is it a hose replacemen?

My Disco 2 ACE is leaking fluid, reservoir empty, orange warning light on, red sometimes comes on but reverts to orange if you restart engine. I'm not going to get ACE fixed, garage advise too expensive given age/value of car. So if I invest more money in this car I'm going to get the ARB...
