2001 Freelander Td4 ES I had similar problem ..... had new tyres fitted all round, tyre fitter took rear O/S and used this as spare as max tread on this tyre. He then fitted new tyres to the remaining wheels and put them all back and torqued the nuts up - using a torque wrench - v impressed...
