Hi all car blew its head gasket on the way to birmingham nec last saturday can anybody tell me the torque settings do I need to replace the heads after it as been torqued down do you run it for 25mins and let it cool and retighten or do I do 500 miles and then retorque it your help most...

Hi the engine does not have an oil cooler setup and the oil on No8 cylinder looked burnt and built up

Hi I have just checked both crankcase breather pipes and the left bank as you look at the car from the front had a plastic pin shaped like a drawing pin 12mm long, pin head diameter is 11mm could not even blow through the pipe why would this have been put there any fundamental reasons:confused:

Hi I have found the oil leak as I said before the front of the sump was damp with oil cleaned it up yesterday no oil leaks overnight took it for a 40 mile run this morning and there was oil on the front of the sump it only seems to leak under pressure could it be a block crankcase breather hose...

No it only runs on petrol

well I am loosing the oil somewhere and I cannot say where from, no oil on caravan, no thick smoke coming out of the exhaust, but there seems to be fresh oil on the front of the sump could the oil be coming out there under pressure I will have a look at the weekend and make sure all the bolts...

Hi POAH I cannot see any oil coming from the exhaust there is no oil splatter in the engine bay sump area looks slightly damp and the coolant is fine

Hi All On a recent journey 600miles towing my caravan I used upto 8 litres of oil can anybody tell me what as gone wrong and does my car have an EGR valve and if so where is it also I have changed all 8 plugs and only No 8 had any oil of significance all the rest had none I would welcome any...
